This Sunday our Transformed series will continue as we enter our second week of a seven week study that will change our lives as God helps us to grow and become more like Him. Throughout the series we encourage everyone to:
~ Attend worship each Sunday.
~ Participate in a small group.
~ Purchase a workbook for $12 each, or two for $20. (Don’t let low funds keep you from participating in this great study. Extra donations have been made to help with the purchase of books).
All of our CrossPoint small groups will be participating in this series. Each week Pastor Mike will present the next chapter in the study. Throughout the week our small groups will offer deeper discussion, study of Scripture, and building of friendships as we become transformed together. We look forward to all God has for us. This Sunday we celebrate the work God is doing around the world as we conclude our Missions Weekend with International Worker Charlotte Hisle. Join us for worship and hear about Charlotte’s work in the beautiful country of Portugal. Worship begins at 10:30 am. Teens are invited to join Charlotte for pizza upstairs at noon. “Back to Church Sunday,” part of a national movement of churches across America, will be held at CrossPoint Community Church this Sunday, September 20. We invite everyone to attend! Worship begins at 10:30 am. This special service will feature our contemporary worship team, a children’s program, loving nursery, and a relevant message from Pastor Mike, along with free coffee and refreshments.
We invite you to stay for lunch following the worship service. We will have croquet, other yard games, and children’s games available as well. This Sunday we conclude the I Love To Tell The Story teaching series presented by CrossPoint Community Church, Point Place UCC, and Messiah Lutheran Church. This week our guest speaker is Pastor Cindy Getzinger from Messiah Lutheran Church. Each week the pastors have presented their favorite Bible story at one of the three churches and joined the congregation in worship and community. Join us this Sunday, August 9 through August 23 for a unique teaching series called I Love To Tell The Story presented by CrossPoint Community Church, Point Place UCC, and Messiah Lutheran Church. Each week the pastors will visit one of the three churches and present the message from their favorite Bible story. This Sunday we host Pastor Jon Komperda from Point Place UCC. Pastor Cindy Getzinger from Messiah Lutheran Church will be our guest speaker on Sunday, August 23. Pastor Mike will be sharing his favorite story with CrossPoint on Sunday, August 16.
