This Sunday at CrossPoint

“Open your eyes,” Jesus said. “Look at the fields that are ripening all around us and are ready for harvest! And the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life!” (John 4:35-36)

Are you a global Christian?

This week we continue with week seven of the Open Your Eyes series. Some of us may be ignoring the mission that Jesus gave us – to go into and care about the whole world. Again this Sunday, we will be looking at how God may be wanting to open our eyes to His vision for the world. This week Pastor Mike will talk about the religions of the world, and how to talk to people who follow another faith.

Neighborhood Picnic Today!

We’re having a neighborhood picnic today, May 27 from 4-7 pm.
Join us at CrossPoint Community Church for this fun event!
Volleyball, basketball, relay races, children’s games, and free food
will all be part of the fun.

Theme: Greek Food

As part of our Open Your Eyes emphasis, we are meeting tonight at the church building for an international dinner that we call Ethnic Food Night. We’ll be sharing and enjoying Greek food. Try your hand at some Greek cooking as we all share our food with each other. Bring an appetizer, main dish, side dish, salad, or dessert. Search online for Greek food recipes if you need ideas.

“Open your eyes,” Jesus said. “Look at the fields that are ripening all around us and are ready for harvest! And the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life!” (John 4:35-36)

Are you a global Christian? Or is your focus only on what goes on immediately around you?

Some of us may be ignoring the mission that Jesus gave us – to go into and care about the whole world. Starting this Sunday, we will be looking at how God may be wanting to open our eyes to His vision for the world. Pastor Mike will be giving the rationale for being a global Christian, and over the next several weeks our goal is to grow together in our awareness of the important and ripe harvest fields of the world.

Praising Together

You are bringing the message this Sunday!

Don’t panic! This Sunday we are giving people an opportunity to praise and thank God for what He has been doing in our lives lately. Please take some time to think about the blessings in your life, what you are thankful for, and what God has taught you recently.

Some things that you may want to think about:

  • Our recent teaching series, “Jesus, the Greatest Life”
  • The recent time of Lent
  • What you are learning in a group you’re in
  • How God is working or blessing in your life, family, marriage, etc.
  • What is happening in our church

God is great, and He deserves glory and praise!
