Ethnic Food Night Tonight

Ethnic Food Night

Tonight at 6:30 pm

Theme: Greek Food

As part of our Open Your Eyes emphasis, we are meeting tonight at the church building for an international dinner that we call Ethnic Food Night. We’ll be sharing and enjoying Greek food. Try your hand at some Greek cooking as we all share our food with each other. Bring an appetizer, main dish, side dish, salad, or dessert. Search online for Greek food recipes if you need ideas.

This Sunday at CrossPoint

“Open your eyes,” Jesus said. “Look at the fields that are ripening all around us and are ready for harvest! And the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life!” (John 4:35-36)

Are you a global Christian? Or is your focus only on what goes on immediately around you?

Some of us may be ignoring the mission that Jesus gave us – to go into and care about the whole world. Starting this Sunday, we will be looking at how God may be wanting to open our eyes to His vision for the world. Pastor Mike will be giving the rationale for being a global Christian, and over the next several weeks our goal is to grow together in our awareness of the important and ripe harvest fields of the world.

Annual Meeting

CrossPoint’s first ever annual membership meeting is this Sunday! Come find out what God has done in and through our church in 2011.

Carry-in Meal

Everyone is invited to bring a dish or two for the carry-in meal we’ll have after our worship service and before the meeting.

The h2o Ride

The h2o Ride team is bicycling all over the United States raising awareness and support to provide clean drinking water to people throughout the world. They are riding 8,840 miles, and will be riding through Toledo in September. The team will be spending the night here at CrossPoint on September 21.

The team is working with Living Water International, working to build wells to bring clean water to people who need it the most.

Lost and Found

“I am the prodigal son every time I search for unconditional love where it cannot be found.”
~ Henri Nouwen

What is our reaction when confronted with unconditional love? Are we able to accept the lavish love of God? This Sunday we conclude our series the parable of the lost son, as we look at the father in the Jesus’ story. Join us at CrossPoint! Worship begins at 10:30 am.
